Making music seems to run in John Legend’s family.
The “Ordinary People” singer—who shares kids Luna, 8, Miles, 6, Esti, 21 months, and Wren, 16 months, with wife Chrissy Teigen—posted a video on social media of himself bonding with his two youngest kids.
In the clip shared Nov. 6, the 45-year-old sat at his piano and sang his song “L-O-V-E” as Esti sat next to him and adorably sang along. Wren got in on the fun by excitedly banging on the keys and flashing a wide grin.
The tune, off John’s latest album My Favorite Dream, proved to be a family affair, featuring vocals from Chrissy, 38, as well as Luna and Miles.
“The song is truly a love fest,” John told The Hollywood Reporter in August. “It’s like a celebration of love, and I see it as almost a mission statement for how I want to live and how I want my kids to live. And the kind of light you see in people that are filled with love—I want them to be those kinds of people.”
The EGOT winner has never been shy about expressing his love for his family. Over the summer, he celebrated his family’s newest additions by debuting a new bicep tattoo honoring his wife, whom he married in 2013, as well as Wren and Esti, who were both born in 2023 via surrogacy and IVF, respectively.
“Presenting ‘chrissyestiwren’ for the left arm,” John wrote on Instagram alongside photos of his fresh ink. “If you zoom/squint/get reading glasses you can see it.”
The “All of Me” singer noted that the body art was meant to complement an earlier tattoo he got to celebrate his elder kids.
“I don’t have much ink on my body,” he noted. “My first tattoo was ‘chrissylunamiles’ in a subtle heart-monitor-like cursive on my right arm to honor my growing family. So I asked @winterstone to come back and mirror it with the new babies.”
